Where
are you from?
I
grew up in the burbs if NYC, but I’ve been living in Long Island for about
fifteen years.
Why
do you write?
Because
I have to! LOL. These people in my head want out. They want life
and they want their story told.
What
inspired you to write your first book?
It
was a dream that I couldn’t stop thinking about. After about two weeks, I made up an elaborate
story that stemmed from the dream. I
still haven’t published it yet though.
What
genre do you typically write?
I
write adult contemporary romance and male romance.
Do
you feel like you have a specific writing style?
I
like third person and I like POVs from both MCs. I
think it gives the a second layer of depth than a single POV offers.
How
long does it usually take you to write a book?
I
think six months is realistic goal, but there are a lot of factors, such as
time constraints.
What
do you do to conquer writer’s block?
I
move on and go back to the scene. You
generally know how the story is going to progress but sometimes there is a
stumbling block in your way. Don’t get
bogged down on that one tough scene.
It’ll come to you later.
What
book are you reading now?
I
just finished a short scifi by Ashlyn Forge called The Caterpillers.
What are your current projects?
Is there anything you
find particularly challenging in your writing?
The most challenging thing is
trying to please everyone.
