Rise of the Flame

Half-Price Sale

and Release Day Celebration

Rise of the Flame is alive! It's live on Amazon! Who is ready to celebrate with me?

We are not only celebrating its release, but how amazing it is that Rise of the Flame made three bestseller's lists within the first 12 hours of publication.

Holy moly! To celebrate I am offering this 120,000 + epic fantasy novel for HALF-PRICE...and a GIVEAWAY!

Book Blurb:
From international bestselling author, K.N. Lee comes Rise of the Flame, an epic beginning to the Eura Chronicles.

There are six races, four realms, and one human girl that can bring them together in peace...or war. Lilae has been hunted since the night of her birth. She is the only heir to the human god's throne.

For centuries the races have been separated by an ancient barrier. Now that the barrier is crumbling and vanishing, the races are once again pitted against one another.

For years Lilae and her surrogate family have avoided the dangerous Shadow Elf that hunts her. All of their years of training seem lost when Lilae is captured and enslaved by the emperor of an enemy race. Or is it? Through every hardship and moment of torture, Lilae finds comfort only in the strange man from her dreams.

On the other side of the world, Liam leads his army of Tryan’s across the realm to protect his people from Shadow Elves that are invading his land now that the barrier is broken. With his best friend, his betrothed, a fairy, and a specialized order of soldiers, he sets out on a journey to find a grand weapon that can aid him in this inevitable realm war.

The plan seems clear, until he dreams of Lilae, while Lilae falls for the emperor that made her his slave.

Chapter One of Night of the Storm: Book Two of the Eura Chronicles

Rise of the Flame's History and Acknowledgements

Rise of the Flame was the first book I’ve ever written. It started as a short story that I typed on my mother’s typewriter when I was eleven years old.
How it has grown!
Throughout the years my dreams have shaped Lilae and Liam’s world, and unique creatures and powers began to seep into this world. With each passing year that I added more and more chapters, Lilae began to be shaped by my experiences, insecurities, and dreams.
While a powerful being that is faced with saving the world, I believe that she is the most like me in many ways. From a girl in my dreams and daydreams, to a character put before the world, Lilae is a cherished being that I have long loved and looked to for solace. Writing her story has helped me through the toughest times.
When my home was broken into, and my laptop was stolen with the only file that I had of Lilae’s story, I almost lost the desire to write. I’d lost years of work, and entered a six month depression that made it impossible to even pick up a pen and paper or open a file on my computer. It was Lilae’s incessant reoccurrence in my dreams that gave me the courage to get over the pain of having lost her, and to start the entire book from scratch.
I must say that starting over was the best thing I’ve ever done. I may have lost thousands of written words, but Lilae’s story was engrained in my mind. And so, the story morphed into the epic trilogy that I present to you today.
Throughout the years many people have encouraged me and gave me the strength to pursue my dream of becoming an author. I must thank my family for always supporting my writing. My mother always encouraged me, and my grandmother introduced me to the incredible world of fantasy, and my younger brother was always there to let me read my stories to him.
Thank you to my beta readers, Melinda Metz, Carrie Enders, Jacqueline Pfhal, Julia Fe Chala, Zachary Katz- Stein, Erica Li, Victoria Duncan, Caridad Ortiz, and Kenichi Kamihara. Thank you to my editor, Ann Wicker.
Special thanks to my amazing artist, Jennifer Munswami of JM Rising Horse Creations, and my fairy god- mother, Colleen M. Albert, The Grammar Babe. It is with the help of these incredible individuals that I present to you, Rise of the Flame

Introducing author, A.J. Adwen

She now resides in Oklahoma City, though she is still thoroughly attached to her home and finds much inspiration for her stories whenever she has a chance to return. As the spouse of a police officer and a full-time photographer, she is on her toes 24/7.

In 2013, she was a recipient of the Oklahoma Next Generation award: an award given to thirty individuals under the age of thirty in the state who have proven to be innovative and inspiring leaders in the arts, entertainment, business, media, and other areas of impact.

Often told that she has her head in the clouds, she couldn’t deny it even if she wanted to. Allison began dreaming up stories long before she was old enough to write them. She enjoys a variety of genres, including YA, romance, historical romance, fantasy, dystopian, and anything else that hooks her interest. She prefers to write books that tell gripping love stories in heart-wrenching, real, inspiring ways. Her stories are deep and raw, taking the reader into a world that is richly intricate. Cover Reveal! **Smolder on a Slow Burn Blog Tour** **Giveaway**

Write Like a Wizard is proud to present Lynda Cox's newest publication, Smolder on a Slow Burn!

Allison Webster dreams of having an adventure like the characters in the books she loves. But there is no romance in being pursued by a man who wants her dead for educating the children of former slaves. Unlike the heroines she reads about she doesn't have a trusty companion to rescue her...until she literally runs into A.J. Adams, a former Confederate cavalry officer. Now, she just has to convince A.J. he really is the honorable man and hero depicted in the dime novel she is reading.

Branded a "traitor" for more than ten years, scarred by harsh treatment in an inhumane prisoner of war camp, A.J. Adams wants revenge. Allison Webster's arrival into his life provides the bait to destroy the men who murdered his wife and daughters and kidnapped his little brother. The men pursuing Allison are the very same men he has sworn to kill. Falling in love and admitting he might actually be a hero means surrendering his need for vengeance. Surrender is not part of A.J.'s battle strategy.

Book Two of the Best-Selling Novel, The Chronicles of Koa: Netherworld

Not all vampires are created equal...

Koa is a half-blood vampire with not only the ability to fly, but survive in the sun's light. She will do anything to protect her mother, and break her curse. The demon, Bund, wants more than her mother's life. He wants something from Koa, a power that she doesn't even know she has, and will rip through as many humans as he can to get her to surrender.

Agent Koa Ryeo-won, and her boss, Halston, formed a crew of supernatural agents to stop Bund. But is a prophet, a temptress, a War-Breeder, a half-blood with an enchanted sword, and a few angels enough to stop what Bund has planned?

In the midst of a war between the humans of the mortal world, and the creatures of the Netherworld, Koa discovers the truth of her past. She finds herself torn between two men, and in the center of everything. Faced with all of her returned memories, Koa also finds herself more powerful than ever. Being a half-blood is hard enough, but what exactly is Koa's other half?

The truth can save...or destroy everything.

Will the Netherworld Division stand behind Koa once they learn her secret?

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Sequel Novel I've Ever Read--Period May 25, 2014
Verified Purchase
When I finished reading K.N. Lee's "The Chronicles of Koa: Netherworld," I remember the anticipation which began to build from that moment for the story I knew was coming.

Well, "Dark Prophet: Book Two of the Chronicles of Koa" certainly did not disappoint. Koa and Halston are back, better than ever. It sets a precedent for me to finish reading fictional works the very same day I start them, but that's EXACTLY what happened this afternoon. An original, detailed plot--unique characters a reader finds themselves investing in readily--true hang-on-for-dear-life action--this book has it ALL. Lee writes in such a way she engages her audience from the opening sentence. I'm thrilled to say I've seen it happen twice now.

At this point, allow me to make something crystal clear: I'm not the type of reader who simply decides to review written material with the coveted 5-Star Rating just because others have before me. That's just not "how I roll". But, as I mentioned above, I'd already seen Lee's talent with her first Koa publication; Dark Prophet validates my anticipation. Five stars? By all rights, there SHOULD be a 5-Star PLUS designation specifically for K.N. Lee.

There's already a legion of fans out there who share my opinion.

Join us, and get this book, folks.

It's that simple.

5.0 out of 5 stars AMAZING!! April 26, 2014

I can't even begin to express how much I loved this book! I started it this morning and did not put it down until I'd devoured every single page. It was just so brilliantly written and paced perfectly that I was just so enthralled in the story that I just had to know what happened.

Halston was a favourite of mine in the first book, and yet again K.N. Lee just had me swooning at his every word, action and look. *sigh* I am so in love with him. I felt my heart leaping in my chest when Koa's past was revealed, a past that includes a long lost love that has been returned to her, and I really hoped that Koa wouldn't forget the new life she had made for herself and the connection that she shared with Halston, now that memories of her past had been returned to her.

The action and drama in this book was paced perfectly, and I was on the edge of my seat throughout, biting my lip and glaring at anyone who dared interrupt me when I was reading. I loved seeing how the allegiances changed throughout this story, and those who we thought we could trust turned to other sides, and what we thought was the truth is far from it. This really brought the suspense to a whole new level and I felt giddy with nerves and excitement as everything that Koa was fighting for began to change.

A brilliant continuation of the Chronicles of Koa series, and I CAN'T WAIT to see what happens next. I am addicted!!
