An Unhuman Journey is a fantastic adventure novel that intrigued me from the very first line. I mean, who enjoys being whipped? Such a concept made me settle into my chair and prepare for many hours of incredibly well-written characters, dialogue, and plot. The main character, Kirsten is awesome. She is strong, and yet very relatable. Her paranormal journey in this story is quick-paced and suspenseful. Not only is there a multitude of action, but there is a delicious amount of passionate scenes that are not for the faint of heart. I believe that anyone that enjoys a perfect blend of fantasy, romance, and action will adore Kirsten and her unhuman journey.

Candace Blevins lives with her husband of 18 years and their two daughters. When not working or driving kids all over the place she can be found reading, writing, meditating, or swimming.
