Marika Germanis' "I Can Cook: Light Lunches: A Children's Cookbook" **Blog Tour**

I Can Cook: Light Lunches:

A Children's Cookbook

**Blog Tour**

Author Biography

Born in Zimbabwe, Africa I was fortunate and privileged enough to have had several years of cooking with my granddaughter Imogen who enjoyed cooking. Before she could even stand she was stirring pots from my arms.

I take pleasure in writing these books for "Imsi" in memory of our early years together.

We spent many enjoyable hours in the kitchen and I have no doubt she will one day be a Great Cook. We came from Africa where fresh healthy locally grown fruits, vegetables and meats were readily available grown and ripened in the natural unspoiled gardens and farms with a large percentage of organic growing and production.

What a great idea! Marika has put together an amazing series of children's cook books. My daughter loved this book with its fun simple recipes. Cooking together has been a pleasure and a time to bond together in the kitchen being creative and preparing these quick and simple meals together. The book is not only for the children but can also be used by the parents.

What the Reviews Say

"My First Travel Book" by Anna Othitis offers a wonderful way to teach young children about famous and beautiful places of our world.
A short illustrated page on several cities and sights in Africa, Europe and the US explains the significance of the places and then asks questions so you can see if the children still remember.
It's a great way to learn, Othitis has carefully composed the pages to make them fun and entertaining as well as educational.
It is books like these that made me decide to make travel my profession, which is was for 15 years. Othitis brought back my excitement of those days and I am sure she will have the same effect on her readers, young and old.
The production values of the e-book are amazing.

The wonderful little book MY FIRST TRAVEL BOOK: ANGELIC AIRLINE ADVENTURES is one children from the ages of 4 or 5 all the way to 11 or 12 years old will have fun reading (or hearing it read). The little ones will enjoy the illustrations and poetic text and the older ones will really learn so much about all the great destinations in MY FIRST TRAVEL BOOK: ANGELIC AIRLINE ADVENTURES by Anna Othitis! And it'll have an international appeal!

Anna gives such informative information, and I can't believe she rhymes it, too! And the questions will get the little ones thinking about their adventures around the world in a 'learning' sense. It's great for children about to travel and for those who don't get to really go. Even I learned a few things reading it to my grandson! Definitely made me hanker to go to the places I've only heard about. The author has been blessed to travel the world over and is so sweet to share her travels in this way.

Anna Othitis lived and was raised in the beautiful land and country of Zimbabwe, Africa (home will always be home. She left all of her life long memories, endless charity work and good people behind vowing that she will continue supporting the needy children in her land Zimbabwe, Africa and beyond. After traveling long and short distances from the East coast to the West coast twice she and her family eventually found their sense of belonging and final settling destination in New Jersey, USA.

Her husband George, sons Johnny, Elia and Frankie encouraged her to write her first children's book titled "My First Travel Book", inspired by Frankie (Captain Frankie), who is graduating from his Masters degree in Aeronautical Science and beginning his career as a professional pilot. Anna's favorite saying is "Be Bold Be Brave".

She was inspired to write her children's books with a vision to link up the children Africa and of the world on Angelic Airlines to so many beautiful places of interest and popularity on our wonderful planet Earth with all its beautiful some natural and some man made creations and resources. One of the beautiful natural wonders featured in her books is in her birth land of Zimbabwe "The Mighty Victoria Falls" All of her books educate our children and widen their scope of interest in the amazing surroundings, creations and nature to appreciate and look after our environment for many generations still to come.
