Halston

Glenda Horsfall was born and brought up in the beautiful city of Edinburgh.
From an early age she was an avid reader. She became engrossed in reading romance novels in her early teens and promised herself that one day she would sit down and write her own.
That dream has now been achieved with the publication of her first novel 'Playing for Keeps'. A tale of Domination and submission, the story is also a romance with a Happy Ever After ending!
Glenda now lives on the Fylde Coast of England with her own hero. She has a grown up son and three beautiful grand-daughters.
Having worked for many years as an Accountant, she loves being able to let her creative imagination run wild as she creates romantic stories for you to enjoy.

What is the name of your character? Is he/she fictional or a historic person?
Halston is a fictional character that was created in my dreams. He is an angel and Koa's guardian in my series, The Chronicles of Koa.
When and where is the story set?
The story takes place in modern day England.
What should we know about him/her?
Halston is an angel and general in the Netherworld Division. He helps monitor and keep peace between the supernatural population and the humans.
What messes up his / her life? Halston is a fallen angel, but instantly saw his error and has been trying to redeem himself for centuries.
His only flaw is that he loves the half-blood vampire Koa, and that she weakens his resolve to stay on the righteous path.
What is the main conflict?
There is a demon that knows Halston and his weaknesses, and using Koa to make him do things that he wouldn't normally do. Koa's mother is the only one that can destroy this demon. But she is cursed, Halston leads Koa to the supernatural world where there is an improsoned prophet that knows how to break the curse.
What is the personal goal of the character?
Halston wants to redeem himself in order to return to Heaven.
Is there a working title for this novel, and can we read more about it?
The name of the book is Netherworld: The Chronicles of Koa Book One, the sequel is Dark Prophet, and the third book is called Lyrinian Blade. They are available on Amazon.com.
When can we expect the book to be published?
Lyrinian Blade: The Chronicles of Koa Book Three will be available March 2015!
