When the terror ends

And the heartbreak begins

I'll be quiet

And wait for you

When the room turns black

I know you'll be back

Even when the door slams

I' won't cry

Or beg

I'll just wait for you

When time goes by

And I start to forget

Love and hope

I'll wait for you

When my dreams perish

In flickering flames

I won't blame you for the destruction

Or these cold chains

If you let me go

I promise

I swear I won't tell

Of the pain you put me through

Or this bitter hell

I'll keep my mouth shut

To be free once more
